Sam Treharne

An extensive experience in public and private health care providing a service for all ages and abilities

Sam is a fully licensed and insured chartered physiotherapist with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). Since being qualified he has gained an extensive experience within the NHS and private clinics. Sam has prior experience includes a number of roles in professional and semi professional sports teams. These include Swansea FC men’s and women’s squads, Ospreys and Swansea rugby union squads.


He is highly competent in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and sports injuries. Sam has completed a number of post graduate courses including acupuncture, dry needling, strength and conditioning, and mindfulness. 


Sam left his role as a Specialist Physiotherapist in pain management in London/Kent in July of 2016. In this role he specialised in treating patients with chronic widespread and complex body pain using a biopsychosocial approach.


Sam moved to Killarney in August 2016. He is looking to continue a proven track record in treating a wide range of conditions and wants to pursue the ambition of promoting exercise to the general public.
